With so much to do locally, we thought it would be a good idea to set out for you some of the many possibilities during a relaxing stay at Chestnut Hill.
Day 1 .. take a cruise
Take a cruise on the Gippsland Lakes. Admire the abundant wildlife and natural forest shoreline. Picnic hampers are available.
Day 2 .. sample our fine local produce
Travel the Twin Rivers farm food and wine trail, visiting berry farms, fruit orchards and wineries.
Day 3 .. for the more energetic
Hire bikes or bring your own to cycle part or all of the East Gippsland Rail Trail, visiting “Villages beyond the Lakes” on your journey
Day 4 .. enhance your skills
Spend an enjoyable day at Culinaire Cooking School with ‘Hands on cooking classes’. Prior booking is advised. Visit their website
Day 5 .. spend some time browsing
Visit the varied boutique art, craft and jewellery making establishments, all in very close proximity to each other and Chestnut Hill.
Day 6 .. take a leisurely drive
Tour the “Great Alpine Road” for the day – visiting wineries and historic townships.
Day 7 .. just take a stroll
The Tambo River flows past the bottom of our property, and provides some of the main attractions of boating, fishing, swimming and scenic walks in the area.
